How many people do the rooms at Labstelle hold?
The Saal holds 130 guests at gala tables and 150 at a standing reception. Saal and restaurant together hold 230 guests – the largest number the house allows.

What are the technical specifications of the Saal?
The Saal measures 239 m² with a ceiling height of 9 m. The doors along the delivery route are 200 cm wide. Goods lift: not required, deliveries at street level. Stage sections, grand pianos and exhibition builds therefore reach the room without reloading.
Included in the room rental: standing tables, chairs, ambient lighting, sound system, wireless microphone, Wi-Fi, sound and light.
Conference technology: projector, motorised screen, mixing desk, second microphone, test run beforehand – 450 € net.
Why does the Saal stop at 150 people?
The building classification of the Saal covers 150 people including staff. The limit applies regardless of format and is not negotiable. A reporting duty with the Vienna authority MA 36 only begins at 200 people; the Saal does not reach that threshold.
What does an event at Labstelle cost?
The ranges below are typical values per guest, net, including food and drinks in the usual scope. The price in an individual case depends on the menu, the drinks package and the duration.

Above a certain spend on food and drinks the rental is reduced: F&B from 9,000 net: minus 25 percent; F&B from 12,000 net: minus 50 percent. The scale is stated in the offer. We quote ranges rather than from-prices, because in practice a from-price is never the price.
When can events take place, and how late may music play?
The Saal is available during the day from 8:00 to 17:00 and in the evening from 17:00 to 2:00. Setting up before an evening event is possible from 15:00 at no extra charge.
In the courtyard the music ends at 24:00. The event then continues in the Saal.
Is the Saal exclusive, or does the restaurant stay open?
The Saal is always exclusive: whoever books it has it alone. The restaurant can be taken exclusively from 60 guests, up to 80 at gala tables. Below that, regular service continues.
Menu formats in the Saal: up to 50 guests a three- or four-course menu, from 51 guests Farm to Table or flying only.
What happens if it rains during an event in the courtyard?
Bad-weather plan: the Saal as a backup space, up to 150 people. Anyone planning the courtyard for 150 guests therefore has a complete fallback – both spaces hold the same number.
The courtyard is in use from May to September, outside the season in December for punch groups.
Is the event hall step-free and accessible?
Access: The restaurant (Lugeck 6) and the Saal (Wollzeile 1) are step-free, each with an accessible WC. The event entrance is at Wollzeile 1, 1010 Vienna.
How do guests get here, where do they park and stay?
The event entrance is Wollzeile 1, 1010 Vienna, the restaurant Lugeck 6, 1010 Vienna. Both are two minutes on foot from Stephansplatz, served by the underground lines U1 and U3. By car: Garage am Stephansplatz, 2 minutes on foot. For overnight stays we work with SO/ Vienna, Park Hyatt Vienna, Hotel Sacher Wien.

How does an enquiry work, and how fast does an offer arrive?
After an enquiry through the form on Events & Meetings or by e-mail to office@labstelle.at: offer within two working days. The offer is valid for ten days. For group menus: menu choice one week in advance, guaranteed number three working days in advance.
