Many event venues are hired out empty and the food is brought in. Here, the hall and the kitchen belong together. By day, light falls through the dome; in the evening, light and architecture set the room in scene. The Saal measures 239 m² and is almost nine metres high; together with courtyard and restaurant, the house holds up to 230 guests.

Kitchen
At events, too, our restaurant team works with the same produce and partner farms as in the à la carte service.
Everything is cooked fresh in-house, even for 130 guests. The kitchen is Austrian, regional and seasonal: in December the menu looks different from June.

So that you can judge your budget early, our prices are right here.
All amounts are net, plus VAT; every proposal shows net and gross. The packages per person include the room, basic technical equipment, food and drinks. There is no minimum spend; between the guest numbers shown we calculate linearly.
Hall hire
The more that is eaten and drunk at your event, the lower the hall hire: from €12,000 of food and drink revenue it drops from €2,600 to €1,300.

Revenue: food and drinks of the whole event, net. Time slots: morning 8:00 to 12:00 · day 8:00 to 17:00 · evening 17:00 to 2:00 · day and evening 8:00 to 2:00. With an evening booking, set-up from 15:00 at no extra charge. Later finishes by arrangement. Courtyard: fixed fee, no reduction scale.
Packages per person
A fourth hour of drinks, a midnight snack, Champagne instead of sparkling wine and a stage can be booked individually; projector, motorised screen and mixing desk together €450 net. The hire reduction scale is not yet included in the packages. If your event reaches a revenue level, the proposal gets cheaper.

Location and getting here
Main entrance to the Saal: Wollzeile 1. Restaurant, bar and courtyard: Lugeck 6. One house, two sides, both in the first district.
U1 and U3 to Stephansplatz or U1 and U4 to Schwedenplatz; from both stations it is only a few minutes on foot. From the airport take the CAT or S7 to Wien Mitte and then the U4 one stop to Schwedenplatz. Please give your guests the address of their area.
There are no private parking spaces in the first district. The nearest car parks are at Stephansplatz, two minutes on foot, and at Schwedenplatz, four minutes on foot. The surrounding streets are a short-term parking zone. For groups the underground is usually quicker.

In the house
The whole house is accessible: Saal, restaurant, bar, courtyard and toilets.
Events in the Saal are possible every day from 8:00 to 2:00, longer by arrangement. The restaurant is open Monday to Friday from 11:30 to 24:00 and Saturday from 10:00 to 24:00.
In the Saal until 2:00, in the courtyard and the restaurant until 24:00.
Sound and light system, ambient lighting, wireless microphones, music system for your playlist, fibre Wi-Fi and air conditioning are included in the packages. Projector, motorised screen and mixing desk are charged at €450 net. Anything beyond that we arrange through our technical partner.
Standing tables, chairs, round gala tables and long tables, stage elements, cloakroom – included in the packages; with room hire only, listed as a separate item. Floral decoration and external furniture are added as separate items.
Kitchen and service
Austrian, regional and seasonal, interpreted in a modern way. We cook with what the season provides and with produce from farms we know.

Agency, photography, band, DJ and decoration: we are happy to organise them, but you may also bring your own suppliers at no extra charge. Food and drinks come from the house; external catering is not possible.
On your date the Saal belongs to your party alone; no second event runs there in parallel. The restaurant stays in normal operation and the toilets are separate. If you want the whole house to yourself, book restaurant and Saal together.
Proposal and contract
All prices net, plus VAT; every proposal shows net and gross. The proposal is valid for ten days – during that time your date is held for you. It becomes binding only with your written confirmation; a 30 percent deposit is then due, with the final invoice after the event. This applies to the Saal and to exclusive use of the restaurant; groups in the restaurant pay no deposit.
Up to 90 days before the date you can cancel or reschedule free of charge. After that a sliding scale applies, set out in the proposal and in the terms and conditions. We need the final guest number three days in advance; until then you can change it at no extra cost.
Reply and people
If your date is already taken, we will suggest free alternatives.
Event organisation
Plans your event until the schedule is set. On the phone Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 17:00.
Head of service
Runs the evening. He knows the schedule before the first guest arrives.
Managing director
Runs the house. Where an event departs from the standard, he decides.

You do not need a finished plan yet. The occasion and an approximate guest number are enough; a preferred date or period helps us check availability.
