of the Labstelle
Thomas and Gerald are grateful. Together they opened Labstelle in 2013. Today some guests have become friends. People who have come back again and again after their first visit, and staff members who give their all to keep it that way. Christin is one of them. She manages the office, plans and organizes events.

Many in our kitchen team have been on board since day one. Here, everybody knows everyone and everything. The only thing we don’t know is compromise. This claim is shared by the whole team around head chef Matthias and his sous chefs Theo and Marcus. What works is made by ourselves, smoked, cured, baked—old methods and new. Hip-hop is played; preferably old school.

Restaurant manager Zeljko holds all the strings together. He makes sure that the Werkl – as they say in Vienna – is running. Next to him is Kolja, our event manager. He is your contact person for parties and events in the Saal. Both have been part of the core team of Labstelle since the beginning. Daniel has been our sommelier for quite a while now. This proves true again and again: If you love wine, you love Daniel. The selection is large, both national and international.
